Muktinath-an important pilgrimage place for Hindu and Buddhist is a beautiful, calm and quiet place decorated with god and goddess. The holy shrines at Muktinath are in grove of Poplar trees that include Buddhist temple gompa Sarwa and Marme Lhakang. There is temple of Shiva and pagoda style temple -Vishnu Mandir which contain an image of Vishnu considered as protective deity of Tibet reincarnated as Dalai Lama.Around the temple is a wall from which 108 brass waterspout, cast in a shape of cows head, pour forth sacred water. Even more sacred is the water that raises from a rock inside the ancient Tibetan style Jwala Mai temple a short distance below pagoda. Inside tis gompa, behind a tattered curtain are small natural gas jets that produce a perpetual holy miraculous flame alongside a spring that is source of the sacred water. This auspicious combination of earth, fire and water is responsible for the religious importance of Muktinath.

Filled with ascetic sadhus smeared with ash and hand carried three-pronged sphere,Lams,Hindu and Buddhist devotes and Tibetan women wearing Turquoise-embedded headdress, in brief Muktinath is a replica of heaven with god and goddess and beauty of all element.
